I choose these lovely sumptuous silks based on the wonderful graphics and colors I find in fabric from vintage kimonos. As I examine the fabrics, I look for graphic elements that I can begin to build the pillow around. I then enhance the entire pillow with small delicate glass beads, emphasizng particular design elements. The pillows become delicate colorful jewels for the home. The fabric is in short supply, and the beadwork on each piece is different, so these pillows are all one of a kind works of art.
